Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Deck Muse. By accessing our website and services at deckmuse.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be old enough to legally consent to data processing in your jurisdiction, or have a parent or guardian's consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
3. Service Description
Deck Muse helps you turn notes, documents, and prompts into structured presentations with AI-assisted layout and visuals. The service may include draft slides, generated illustrations, and shareable links.
4. Credits, Billing, and Taxes
Accounts may need to purchase credits to access certain features. Credits are used to generate images and may expire or be updated as we evolve pricing and functionality. Payments are handled by our payment providers, and taxes may apply based on your location.
5. Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you upload or enter. To operate the service, you grant Deck Muse a limited license to host, process, and display your content and generated presentations solely for providing the service to you.
6. AI-Generated Output
AI outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing presentations, verifying facts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes attempts to disrupt the service, reverse engineer it, access accounts that are not yours, or upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
8. Beta Access and Changes
Deck Muse may be offered in beta. Features may change, be added, or removed, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued at any time. We will do our best to provide reasonable notice when feasible.
9. Third-Party Services
Deck Muse relies on third-party providers for hosting, AI generation, and analytics. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies.
10. Intellectual Property
Deck Muse and its software, branding, and templates are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or materials without permission.
11. Termination
You may stop using Deck Muse at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if required to protect the service or other users.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Deck Muse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
If you are a business user, you agree that disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction where Deck Muse is established, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by updating this page and revising the date above.
